Article Pitch Submission

The Documenting Peace column series seeks to go behind the scenes of localized approaches to peace across the world. These short articles in English can take the form of an op-ed, opinion piece, or more formalized case study. We are flexible with the format, as peacebuilders come from diverse fields of practice. But most importantly, these columns should convey your own personal or professional reflections on peacebuilding and be accessible to a public audience. These written essays should be in the range of approximately 1000 words. We also encourage multimedia submissions, including images or multimedia to accompany each article (at least one featured photo is required). Column pitches will be accepted on a rolling basis. All submissions will be reviewed by the project team at the end of each month and selected writers will be invited to develop an article to be featured on the Documenting Peace website.
